Rosemary Beach Boat Tours
Rosemary Beach Boat Tours: You can travel in fast boats that were made to find and interact with the wild bottle-nose dolphins that live in Panama City. Get up close and personal with these amazing animals where they live free. Our home base is in Panama City Beach, which is close to South Walton, Florida, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Santa Rosa, Destin, Mexico Beach, and Cape San Blas.
Before the dolphin shows up, we will put you under the water. This strategy makes it more likely that dolphins will come up to us instead of running away. Blue Dolphin Tours is different from bigger tour boats that can hold up to 150 people; it can only hold six people, including children.
We quickly give you diving gear so that, unlike bigger groups, there aren’t as many splashes and other noises that dolphins often avoid. For bigger groups, we have five similar boats that can fit up to thirty people, with at most six people in each boat. We also have the Large Family Blue Dolphin, which we just added and can fit up to 15 people. Dogs are not allowed on the trip, which is too bad.
Your captain will show you the best and safest ways to interact with dolphins. Snorkeling in our area is some of the best in the world. You can see birds that eat other birds and look into the places where starfish, sand dollars, sea turtles, and stingrays live underwater.
Each trip to Shell Island, St. Andrews Bay, or the Gulf of Mexico is sure to be interesting because it offers something different. The island’s green flats and shallow water are great places for snorkeling for the whole family. Because we focus on small-group and one-on-one tours, we offer a unique wildlife experience. Everything is on this tour! We’ve been in business for more than 30 years and love making families happy.
Rosemary Beach Fishing Charters
Rosemary Beach is the perfect place to spend the weekend in the Florida Panhandle because it is halfway between Destin and Panama City. People like to fish for fun, so it’s not surprising that there are a lot of Rosemary Beach fishing tours you can take to make your trip even more enjoyable. Fish with us and catch some fish that people want!
From this area, you can drive to other places to fish near the shore, like Choctawhatchee Bay and the lagoons near PC. You can fight all year with Florida fish like Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, and flounder. Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Pompano, or Sheepshead might be in the water at different times of the year.
There are more fun things to do along the Gulf Coast. Reefs that are good for farming are close to the coast and are home to many useful animals. The Gag Grouper, Cobia, Mackerel, and Amberjack are all great supporting actors, but the Red Snapper is the star.
But that’s not the end of the fun! At Rosemary Beach, you can see the Gulf of Mexico, which is very deep and calls you. It’s very exciting to go on a long trip across the ocean to see billfish, tuna, wahoo, and mahi mahi.
Adventurous Things to Do Near Rosemary Beach
The Rosemary Beach area has sandy beaches, clear water, and sea air. After lying in the sun and enjoying the waves, plan some fun things to do to make your trip more interesting. There is something here for everyone, no matter what high-stakes game you like. Read on to find out our picks for the most exciting things to do near Rosemary Beach.
Enjoy a wonderful airboat ride through Florida’s waters. The Choctawhatchee River is Florida’s third-largest river by volume released. It flows through a peaceful area where you can see wildlife. Remember to bring your camera, sunscreen, and an extra layer to protect yourself from the fan’s wind. While there are no age limits for this family-friendly sport, parents should make sure their kids are safe when they make a reservation.
From behind a boat, you can get a great view of Rosemary Beach and the area around it. When you jump out over the ocean from behind a specially made boat with a large “flight deck” for landing and taking off, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind experience. Before making a ticket, find out if there are any age, height, or weight limits.
If you’re skilled and sure of your skills, you should rent gear from a nearby business for underwater adventures. Instead, you could go to 30A Dive, which a family runs. The husband and wife who run this business offer many different activities, such as spearfishing trips, freediving, a two-day course to become a certified diver, and “try diving” classes where you can go without a certificate. The price includes everything you need to go diving.

What is special about Rosemary Beach?
From its stunning architecture and award-winning cuisine to the peaceful getaway of boutique accommodations, it’s no wonder couples flock to Rosemary Beach for a special getaway. Romance blooms in this New Urbanist South Walton neighborhood, which was named one of CNN’s “Most Romantic Towns in America.”
Some of the places I’ve been in Florida are Vero Beach, Longboat Key, Miami, Clearwater, and Orlando. I love each site because it has its own unique charm. But there was one place I had never been: the beach towns in Northwest Florida, also known as 30A.
That is, you need to be from a Southern state like Alabama, Georgia, or Tennessee to know what 30A is. Still, everyone should think about going there at least once. On County Road 30A in Florida, there are four small, charming, and beautiful beach towns: Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Aly’s, and Watercolor. Each has its own special thing to offer.
The towns are in a nice spot between Panama City and Destin, which are both very busy places. One thing that makes them stand out is that they need big-box shops, cruise ship ports, big hotels, or loud college students on spring break. Instead, these towns have quiet, family-friendly areas, long stretches of white sand beaches, and well-known shops and restaurants in the area.
Does Rosemary Beach have public access?
It’s important to note that almost all beaches in or around Rosemary are private. You can only access them if you are a resident or renting a place with deeded beach access. The only two public beaches in the area bookend 30A at Inlet Beach and Santa Rosa.
A stroll along Rosemary Beach’s carefully put cobblestone paths opens up a whole new world of pleasure. To protect the natural beauty of this Florida sanctuary, every part of it was carefully thought out before construction began in 1995. You can walk or ride a bike all the way to the town center, which is only five minutes away from everywhere in this one-of-a-kind beach village. Barrett Square is a safe place on 30A because it is surrounded by the lively atmosphere and beautiful architecture of the French Quarter. Oceanfront promenades and lush, plant-lined roads make it easy to get to community events, and winding paths lead through individual cottages and pretty carriage homes.
The architecture and scenery of this well-planned beach town are based on the classic beauty of New Orleans and Charleston, as well as the islands in the West Indies. The apartments inside have high ceilings and large common rooms. There are peaceful courtyards with waterfalls and wraparound porches with garden views that make the living areas outside feel like they are still inside. The earthy tones of Rosemary Beach’s sustainable building materials, like cedar shingles, stucco exteriors, and wood siding, stand out against the bright colors of the greenery and furniture.
Can you walk everywhere in Rosemary Beach?
Rosemary Beach features numerous paved sidewalks that are biker and pedestrian-friendly. The town even has an 18.6-mile biking trail traversing beach communities and coastal dune lakes, making biking the best way to get around.
Rosemary Beach is a beautiful beach town on the Gulf Coast of northwest Florida. It’s one of my favorite places to go on vacation. Rosemary was built to encourage a sense of community. It has a small center hub surrounded by shops and cafés that are easy to get to on foot from anywhere in the town. And the houses themselves, works of art in architecture? Really wonderful. Would you like to take a picture walk to get a feel for how beautiful Rosemary Beach is? Let’s take a stroll whenever we want.
There are beautiful homes all around you as you walk through the area. Both the inside and outside of these Rosemary Beach homes are beautiful. This year, we stayed in a beautiful vacation home that deserves its blog post. We did clean up some parts of the house, so let me show you some of the best bits from before we put all of our beach stuff out and took pictures.
Does Rosemary Beach have white sand?
The namesake beach in Rosemary Beach is long and immaculate, featuring soft sands as white as sugar. Sandpipers and seagulls can often be seen on the quiet, little-crowded beaches of Rosemary Beach, making it an ideal spot for a beach day spent sunbathing, swimming, and watching the wildlife.
Rosemary Beach was carefully planned as a tourist development by the Rosemary Beach Land Company in 1995. It has since changed into a neo-traditional neighborhood. With views of the Gulf of Mexico, this 107-acre haven is on the beautiful Route 30A between Panama City and Destin. Even though the closest airport is in Destin, which is only 30 minutes away by car, we chose to take our time and drive from Orlando, which took six hours. It’s great for relaxing with a cool drink at a bar by the water while listening to country music because of how laid-back it feels.
The clean green areas in the community make it easy to relax and do things like blowing bubbles or throwing footballs with friends. Rosemary Beach has four common pools, one in each quadrant. This makes it easy for both locals and tourists to get to them, even though many of the homes have their pools. For your ease, I’ve put a link to the community map here.
What famous people live in Rosemary Beach FL?
Further down the road, political masterminds Karl Rove and HGTV star Vern Yip own homes in Rosemary Beach. Actress Katie Holmes and her daughter, Suri, spent a Memorial Day weekend in Rosemary a few years back.
Rosemary Beach’s beautiful architecture and lively atmosphere expertly combine the charm of West Indian design with New Urbanism, which is defined by its focus on being walkable and close to services. This neo-traditional seaside town has beautiful beaches, award-winning restaurants, and a lively town square. CNN named it one of “America’s Most Romantic Small Towns,” and it’s easy to see why: the town’s winding paths and cobblestone streets, as well as its beautiful patios and gardens, make it a great place to eat outside.
Brick paths run along Main Street and the town square, inviting people to look around the small, independently owned shops and businesses that offer a great mix of fun and fashion. People who love good food will find many great places to eat, such as Edward’s for fine dining and La Crema for delicious desserts. Families love to eat at Cowgirl Kitchen, Wild Olives, and The Summer Kitchen Café. Memorable meals there become treasured holiday traditions.
Rosemary Beach has many grassy areas that are great for family get-togethers. A weekly farmer’s market and public art shows make the beach even more unique. Along its other winding lanes, you can see a variety of cleverly built buildings and a charming collection of sculptures by artists from other countries.
Shell Island, St. Andrews Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico are all beautiful places to visit. Each time you go, you’ll find something new. The grassy flats and calm waters around the island make it a great place for families to swim. Small-group and custom tours are what Sunshine Water Sports does best, so every guest has a unique wildlife experience. We’ve been doing this for more than 30 years, so we know how to make fun things for families.
It is at 5711 N. Sunshine Water Sports and Dolphin Tours, which is in Panama City, Florida, on Lagoon Dr., inside the Adventures at Sea Marina. Look for a place called “Off the Hook Restaurant” nearby. There are other companies in the marina, so make sure you ask for Dolphin Tours at Sunshine Water Sports when you get there to get fair prices and quotes.
You can enjoy the Gulf Coast’s beauty as the sun goes down with Shell Island Beach Tours. A romantic and one-of-a-kind way to see the beautiful shoreline of Panama City Beach is to go on one of our evening trips. As the sun goes down, you and your best friends can relax on our cozy boat. On the sunset tour, you’ll have the chance.
