Here Are 6 New River Cruise Ships Launching in 2023

Only a few new riverboats are going to be built in 2023. Some companies in the industry have yet to show off any new ships. Still, American Cruise Lines, Viking, Viva Cruises, and Riverside Luxury Cruises (which just joined the industry) are all working on interesting new projects. 

Only American Cruise Lines (ACL) will have a new riverboat come out this year (in the United States). On April 20, the American Serenade will be played for the first time on the Lower Mississippi River. This boat is part of the company’s modern riverboat series, which also includes the American Harmony, American Jazz, American Melody, American Song, and American Symphony. It can hold 180 people. 

Studio Dado from Florida will create the interior of Serenade. It will be modern, with four decks, a glass atrium, and rooms between 250 and 650 square feet. 

ACL recently announced that port fees will be included in ship prices, and travel consultants will be able to get paid for them. This is likely good news for travel consultants.
